The latest eruption of the long running feud between Donald Trump and Alec Baldwin shows no signs of cooling down.
The feud had simmered on the back burner for the last few months, but on Friday President Trump decided to turn it back up to a boil. Trump took to Twitter to respond to comments Baldwin made in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter that made the rounds a day earlier.
Baldwin confessed that playing the role of Donald Trump had become “agony,” to which the president replied, “Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!”
Alec Baldwin immediately hit back with two EPIC tweets, first by mocking the future Trump Library, and then by attacking the president’s manhood, imploring the president to “please ask your wife to stop calling me for SNL tickets.”
On Saturday, Baldwin kicked it up further notch by calling into his brother Daniel’s radio show to talk about the feud. In a hilarious twist, he switched back and forth between his own voice and his impersonation of Trump, which allowed host Daniel Baldwin to essentially interview both parties in the feud.
“First of all, everybody knows that Stephen Baldwin is the best Baldwin, OK?” Alec opened the segment in his now famous Trump voice.
Stephen Baldwin, whose acting career peaked with the 1996 Paulie Shore movie, ‘Bio-Dome,’ was one of the early C-list celebrities to jump on the Trump bandwagon, joining esteemed Hollywood has-beens and rejects like Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato, Jr.
From there, the interview went completely off the rails in the best way possible. You can listen to the entire bit below.
